Cleopatra: Theme, Presentation, and Music
I’ve played Cleopatra before, but I’d forgotten just how vivid its presentation is before I revisited it for this review. The game might not boast the realistic graphics or the slick animations seen in some more modern slots, but its visuals still pack a decent punch.
Let’s start with the background: a hazy purple image of an ancient Egyptian structure, with columns and statues. It’s not particularly detailed or (frankly) exciting, but it helps the playing area stand out even more than it would otherwise.
One of the most impressive parts of the 5x3 playing area is the line of hieroglyphs along the top, with various symbols imprinted onto gleaming gold. Coloured spheres line both sides of the reels to mark the different paylines, and ornate hand fans sit in the bottom corners.
